Pastor's Corner

As you look through it you will learn a little bit about us, and the things that we do to share God's message of love and hope to others.

We hope that we can offer something that is to your liking that will help you learn more about God, Jesus, the Bible, and the United Methodist Church; and eventually, develop a personal relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

As a new pastor in this church I can't help but be excited about the work and service that we do in the church and the ways we impact people's lives even though most of our membership live outside the immediate community of the church.

Though our church started out as a parish ministering to the professionals and workers of the near by naval facility in Long Beach, our church has grown significantly to serve our current diverse make up. Now our church is home to Filipino-American, African-American, and Caucasian families.

As you can see, we have made tremendous strides over the years to provide fellowship and spiritual growth opportunities for people coming from all walks of life. We have Women and Men's group, an active Young Adult group, a Youth Group, and an active Christian Education and Music Ministry department.
